About the Cast



Zachary Gordon is the voice of Gil in Nickelodeon’s Bubble Guppies. Zachary, who resides in Southern California, gained enormous attention as the title character in the 20th Century Fox film Diary of a Wimpy Kid, which released in 2010. In 2007, he made his film debut in Georgia Rule, starring Jane Fonda, Felicity Huffman, and Lindsay Lohan, and won the Young Artists Award for best supporting actor for his performance. Since then he has appeared in National Treasure: Book of Secrets, and The Brothers Bloom, where he played the younger version of Adrien Brody’s character. His television appearances include guest-starring roles on How I Met Your Mother, Desperate Housewives, 24 and All of Us. Zachary also has a busy voiceover career. He is the voice of San San on Nickelodeon’s Ni Hao, Kai-lan, a voice on Spike TV’s Emmy Award- winning “Afro Samurai: Resurrection,” alongside Samuel L. Jackson, and is the voice of “Young Bruce Wayne” for Cartoon Network’s Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Additionally, Zach has worked on Seth Green’s Robot Chicken, voicing Charlie Brown, Linus and Franklin. He will be featured as the voice of Papi Jr. in the upcoming movie, Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2. Zachary was recently named this year's Variety's Power of Youth Honoree. Additionally, while filming Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2, he received the Rising Star Award at the Danville Children's Film Festival. Next month he will be honored at the USA Film Festival in Dallas, TX. In his spare time, Zachary enjoys basketball, roller-skating, ping-pong and sixties music, especially The Beatles.

Brianna Rose Gentilella is the voice of Molly in Nickelodeon’s Bubble Guppies. Brianna, who is from Bronx, NY, began performing professionally at the age of seven. Some of her favorite voiceover roles have been on Nickelodeon as the “Dictionary” on Blue’s Room and “Clues” on Blue’s Clues. Brianna made her Broadway debut at the age of 11 in Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas and has performed in many regional theatrical productions including Gypsy, The Music Man, and Hairspray. In her spare time, Brianna is actively involved in Broadway Kids Care, an organization devoted to teaching young performers how to give back to the community. In addition to acting, Brianna enjoys drawing, writing music and lyrics, and teaching tricks to her dog, Xena.

ANGELINA WAHLER, Age 10, Speaking “Deema”
Angelina Wahler is the speaking voice for Deema in Nickelodeon’s Bubble Guppies. Angelina lives in Palo Alto, California and is a multi-talented bundle of energy! In addition to her voice-over work with Nickelodeon, Angelina has appeared on television and in a number of theater and musical productions, as well as in photo shoots for national online ad campaigns. While Angelina enjoys a variety of performing arts, she has a particular passion for music, singing and dance. At the 2007 International Presentation of Performers in Los Angeles, she took the top prize in singing for her age group, with a beautiful acapella rendition of “Castle on a Cloud” from Les Miserables. Angelina studies voice and piano at the New Mozart School of Music in Palo Alto. She is learning to play the flute and has training in jazz and hip-hop dance. She loves animals and enjoys playing with her two mini-Dachshunds, Opal and Pearl, and riding family horses, Talonne and Sunny.

SELENA GONZALEZ, Age 11, Singing “Deema”
Selena Gonzalez is the singing voice of Deema in Nickelodeon’s Bubble Guppies. Selena loves to sing and act and started her artistic journey at the age of 3 1/2. She has performed the national anthem at local venues and fairs and performed at the Apollo Theatre. She has also participated in community and school shows such as Christmas Carol, School Rock and Beauty and the Beast. She had a lead role in a commercial for Trix, has been appeared on TV’s 30 Rock and Sesame Street and in the short films Chocolate Chips, Dash Cunnin, and The Babysitter.

Selena excels in school and plays sports such as basketball, soccer and softball. She has also volunteered in various school and community projects such as Habitat for Humanity. Selena resides in Ridgewood, NJ.

REYNA SHASKAN, Age 14, “Oona”
Reyna Shaskan is the voice of Oona in Nickelodeon’s Bubble Guppies. Reyna started working as a professional child actor at eight-years-old. It did not take long for her voice to win her spots in commercials for Crayola, Bounty, Dairy Queen, Cheerios, Olive Garden and more. She has also been featured in Blue’s Clues, The Backyardigans, and Ice Age 2. Reyna is a straight-A student, enjoys going to summer camp and loves auditioning with her younger sister. Reyna lives in New York City.

JELANI IMANI, Age 11, Speaking “Goby”
Jelani Imani is the speaking voice of Goby in Nickelodeon’s Bubble Guppies. Jelani was born in Seattle, Washington, and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia to attend an acting school and develop his natural talents. At the age of six, he performed his first rap “Get Buck” in front of a live audience. Jelani then moved to Hollywood, CA to pursue his dream. It wasn’t long before he landed his first job as the voice of “Goby” in Bubble Guppies. Jelani performed at the famous New York Apollo Theatre on March 3, 2010 and at the Hot Block Music Awards in Atlanta in July, 2010. Jelani and his family currently reside in Atlanta.

CHRISTOPHER BORGER, Age 14, Singing “Goby”
Christopher Borger is the singing voice of Goby in Nickelodeon’s Bubble Guppies. Christopher lives in Wantagh, NY and is a student at Professional Performing Arts High School. He has done numerous on-camera roles, voiceovers, print and theater. He has performed on Broadway in: Finian's Rainbow (Henry), and International Tour of Disney's The Lion King (Young Simba). He has appeared on television on Grown Ups. Christopher has been awarded the Winner of the 2009 Long Island's Got Talent and Apollo Theatre (Future Star) winner.

Eamon Pirruccello is the voice of Nonny in Nickelodeon’s Bubble Guppies. Eamon was born in San Francisco in 1999 and is the oldest of two. His mother is a writer and his father is an actor. Eamon’s voiced Impatient Bunny in Kung Fu Panda: Secrets of the Furious Five and has a role in an upcoming Warner Brothers animated series. Eamon loves to draw and write comic books, read, play video games, hang out with his friends, and act on and off the screen. He is in the 6th grade and lives in Santa Monica, California.

TINO INSANA, Speaking “Mr. Grouper”
Tino Insana is the speaking voice of Mr. Grouper in Nickelodeon’s Bubble Guppies. Insana was born in Chicago and grew up in a musical family. He continues to play clarinet and bass guitar. Insana got his professional start as a member of the comedy troupe at the famous Second City Theater in Chicago. His work in theater includes being in the cast of improve guru Paul Sills' production of Sills and Company, and with Viola Spolin's The Spolin Players. For many years he was part of "The Postmodernaires," an improve troupe of alums from the Second City and The Committee. An author of comedy books, and a television and film writer, Insana, was part of the hit series Police Squad. One of his indie films was selected as an official entry in the AFI Comedy Film Festival. Insana has been doing voices in animation for many years. He was the voice of "Pig" in the animated movie Barnyard, and in the Nickelodeon series Back at the Barnyard. He also worked with Mel Brooks in Spaceballs: the Animated Series.

CHRIS PHILLIPS, Singing “Mr. Grouper”
Chris Phillips is the singing voice of Mr. Grouper in Nickelodeon’s Bubble Guppies. Phillips is a successful voice-over actor, musician and writer. He has recently been the voice of Nicktoons and heard often on promos for Nick Jr., TV Land, VH1, MTV and Nick at Nite. Chris can be heard doing multiple voices for the CBS Saturday morning show, Generation Jets, as well as the cartoons Doug, PB&J Otter, Beavis & Butthead, and the character "Face" for Nick Jr. for which he won three awards. He also does regular voice work for the award winning PBS show Between The Lions. Phillips is from New York City.

SKAI JACKSON, Age 7, “Little Fish”
Skai Jackson is the voice of Little Fish in Nickelodeon’s Bubble Guppies. Skai has appeared in numerous commercials, including one for Band-Aid. On the big screen, she can be seen in films such as Liberty Kid and The Rebound. Skai had principle roles in an episodes of Royal Pains, Rescue Me and the Louis CK pilot. When Skai is not acting and modeling, she enjoys fashion designing, Nintendo DS and playing with her friends. Skai is a native New Yorker.
